Shyla Stylez is perhaps more famous for her story than she is for her performances. A rag to riches tale gone awry, Shyla Stylez went from obscurity to overnight star when her boyfriend landed in jail just a few months before she met the CEO of Jill Kelly Productions, Bob Friedland. The 70+ year old millionaire became immediately infatuated with the porn starlet, showering her with gifts and spending cash. He eventually signed her to an exclusive contract, gave her a debutante like welcoming reception and eventually announced his intentions to marry her. But the money (not to mention the boob job he bought her) wasn't enough and Shyla couldn't survive under Friedland's controlling thumb. She filed for divorce, annulment and tried suing him for over four million dollars. She was unsuccessful in getting any further funds from Friedland and had her deported for being an illegal alien. Years later, Friedland fled Jill Kelly Productions and the company filed for bankruptcy.
