Velvet Rose Velvet Rose was born in McKinney, Texas on June 13th, 1980. She describes her childhood as uneventful". She was an average student in school but excelled in foreign languages, Spanish and German. In 1996 she won a scholarship to be a foreign exchange student in Germany for a year. A week before she flew to Germany, she lost her virginity at age 16. In 1997 she returned to McKinney High School for her senior year. Velvet Rose did not attend her Senior Prom or Graduation. She says that she had to "chase the boys" and that she was a "brainy ugly duckling." Shortly after graduating, she moved to Germany to attend college. Velvet Rose saw her first porno at age 18 with a boyfriend who remarked, "You should do that." "That's when my interest in doing adult films was first sparked," she says. She began exotic dancing at age 19. Her first year as a dancer she performed in Germany and Austria. The next year she danced in Switzerland, Holland, Norway, Iceland, Japan, Dallas, Vancouver, Canada, and Guam. In April 2002 Velvet Rose moved to Hollywood, California to pursue a career as an adult film actress. In August she was signed to an exclusive one-year contract with Heatwave Entertainment for whom she now performs in two feature films per month.
