Gay Porn Pioneer Matt Sterling Dies
One of the founding fathers of gay porn itself and an adult entertainment impresario, Matt Sterling died today, while hospitalized in Los Angeles, California. GayVN has reported the cause to be "a motor neuron disease he was diagnosed with 18 years ago." Sterling's work in the 60's and 70's with his own Brentwood Studios was the basis on which gay porn went from underground to industry. He helmed some of the best selling gay adult movies of all time including A Matter of Size and Forced Entry. Ironically, his career came full circle as one of his final movies was Matter of Size 2, having not shot since the late 90's.
