Last Month's Event Recaps
Oh all the local porn events of last month! Better late than never, no? Let's get started...I hosted America's Next Top Fetish Model when Jackie Beat backed out because they wouldn't pay her enough. I love that. The Beat is really big these days and needs a lot of cash and let me be the first to put out there that because she is so busy, I will gladly take any of her former jobs as host. Seriously, give me 25 bucks and a cracker and I am there. That's all it takes. The winner of the contest, held at fetish bar The Eagle, was actually one of the bartenders there named Justin and holy hell was he hot! He got a hefty gift certificate to Stockroom.com and a photo shoot with the new face of their fetish wear Jason Hawke, who unfortunately was not on hand so I had to hold up posters of him all night so that people actually knew what exactly was the prize of the evening. Ya know, two of my dearest friends T Ball and Angel Benton, came out to support me and the fetish bar really is not our scene at all! But this is one of those instances where we were so out of our element that it we just ended up laughing at ourselves and having the best time. Oddly enough, I remember this as one of the most enjoyable evening of my year. Oh and Stockroom.com was a joy to work for! Cake walk of a show and very well put together and organized! I would work with them again in a heartbeat.
The month of December kicked off with Christian Owen at Here Lounge's Wednesday night event Porn Star of the Week (10 pm - 1 am) and Chad Donovan with boyfriend Antonio Madiera at MJ's Bar's Thursday happy hour event Porn Star Alley (6:30 pm - 9:00 pm ). Owen not only drew a large crowd but no doubt gained quite a few nominations for himself at The Weho XXX Awards, which were holding a voting poll there. Donovan and Madiera, as always, were lovely guests and the bar was treated to a surprise screening of Donovan's new Jet Set feature, "On Fire!" The following week we were given a rare treat from Brad Benton who rarely makes public appearances these days as he appeared at Porn Star Alley at MJ's just as a favor to your's truly! Thanks, Brad! ;-)
The night Blake Riley was our guest at Here's Porn Star of the Week with Chi Chi LaRue as special guest DJ was, I am told, the busiest the place had been on a Wednesday night ...ALL YEAR! There were over 400 people packed in there and Riley wowed them all with an incredible performance stripping out of a Santa outfit! Never in the history of the show has the entire dance floor stopped dancing and just stared. He was amazing. Thanks not only to our regular photographer T Ball, but also to Unzipped Blog for these amazing photos.
We also had a record breaking night last month at MJ's when Porn Star Alley welcomed Sebastian Young along with his manager, David Forest. Young actually was also our guest at Here Lounge that week, doing back-to-back evenings, as they're both very different. (Here show is more "dancing/autograph" oriented and the MJ's show is more "cocktail/interview" style, for your out-of-towners.) Because this was Young's first appearance in the area and not much is known about him I'll elaborate on this one a bit.
Anyone will tell you, Young is even hotter in person than in photos. He's hot in his movies and pics, but something doesn't translate as well and I'm not sure what it is but it's in person that he really shines. His sexuality was certainly in question throughout the evening. At times he would refer to himself as "straight in real life," at other times "bisexual" and at other times he would talk about how hot certain guys were to him and how he wanted to be with them. The Jet Set exclusive had just come from the set of the movie where he makes his bottoming debut getting banged by Trevor Knight. "I was literally crawling across a pool table trying to get away at first it hurt so bad," he says. "I just didn't have a lot of time to practice. But it was okay. They'll be able to edit a good scene out of it." Edit?! We wanna see the crawling!
Young is extremely affectionate, always putting his arm around someone, feeling them up, cuddling with them. (...Um, or maybe it was just me?! God, I love my job sometimes!) But he says that when it comes to sex, he is very vanilla. He doesn't like cum, usually doesn't even cum on himself when jacking off. When asked about fetishes he replied that he like missionary sex!
