Wolf Hudson and Barrett Long Would Like You To Know They're Straight

Last Tuesday, Wolf Hudson appeared on my live web talk show, "Bottoms Up!," and much to shock of the many fans who just voted him a Grabby Awards co-host at the upcoming May ceremonies, told me he doesn't enjoy sex with men in any way, shape or form.

JS: You've done some straight work too, I know. But you enjoy having sex with guys on camera, right?
WH: No.
JS: ...Really?
WH: Really.
JS: You don't enjoy it at all?
WH: Not at all.

When asked why he signed his recent exclusive contract for CockyBoys.com, he answered, "For the money."

Hudson claimed he wanted to someday settle down with a woman and have a big family. I asked him what he would tell his children when they discovered his porn past.

WH: I did what I had to.
JS: You don't have to do this though. The money's not THAT good. You could go work in construction and make better money!
WH: Yeah, but I have a vision of where I want to go and what I want to do that is much more mainstream and this is already helping me get there. I believe that it will.

Hudson says he has aspirations of mainstream acting and dancing and that while under contract for CockyBoys.com, he will continue to perform in straight porn productions, but he regrets once having retired to try to do straight porn exclusively. "I shouldn't have made such a big deal out of it [by retiring]," he says. "I tried to lie about doing gay porn and the agency I was with found out and dropped me.

JS: Do you think there's a certain amount of self-loathing that comes with going to work at a job that you hate?
WH: I don't hate the industry though. I love working in this industry and I love my fans.
JS: You just don't like having sex with guys?
WH: Right.

Got it!

Meanwhile, this morning, Barrett Long appeared on "The Howard Stern Show" with similar sentiments.

Long says he has to think about women in order to have sex with men. He wanted to note that is dick is rarely fully hard on camera (let's all book him immediately!) and that he has to get high in order to get through his gay sex scenes (constantly contributing to giving the porn industry a better name!).

Long also told Stern he is RICH from all the work he's done in gay porn, but apparently not rich enough because he still escorts, stating many times he'll be asked to fuck a guy's wife for which he charges $400.00 an hour, followed by $200.00 for every additional hour, followed by an arrest for just having admitted to being a prostitute.

Barrett Long says he doesn't perform in straight porn because it's "unsafe sex." Yet when asked later while talking about banging men's wives if he was worried about getting herpes, Dr. Long simply replied something to the effect of, "Well if I see any sign of it, I'm outta there."

*shakes head in disbelief*

Long was on the show to promote LongToy.com and XXXAmateurHour.com. I've booked people on "Stern" many times and I don't doubt both sites received a ton of traffic today. ...But I've also received several emails today from Barrett Long fans saying they've cancelled their membership and will no longer contribute money to any production he is in.

On the upside, both guys say they were once homophobic but that since working in gay porn, they aren't anymore! ...Funny how banging dudes up the ass regularly will do that to you.

I never understand why would people cancel their membership and stop contributing $ based on what the performer says or do. Because it "kills" their fantasy?

Frankly yes, the whole point about cinema be it mainstream or porn is the suspension of disbelief, the revelation that both performers are str8 doesn't really dent that too much, but the obvious distaste they reveal for gay sex, does. I shall not be buying any gay films with either perfromers again, anf frankly I think Wolf Hudson should not be at the Grabbys

This is one of the funniest posts I've seen here in a long time (and there are others over the years that have been a riot!)!
I think it's time the Grabbys/GAYVNs had a category for Best Gay Porn News Item of the Year. This one would surely be the winner, hands down.

Well, in this case, it is because there is no way we want to contribute money directly to people who are obviously so disdainful of gay sex and so disrespectful to their gay fans.

I like porn as a celebration of gay sex. This hardly sounds like it.

I got turned off by the Kam Scott "I am voting McCain: thing but at least THIS is directly linked to their performance. Once again, it would be so nice if studios were more responsive to these kinds of spit-in-the-face.

Say what you will about Howard Stern being a difficult interview, but I remember when Jason booked Bret Wolfe and Jason Ridge on the show, they came off in a very positive light.

Stern works with what he's given.

I would like to officially respond to a recent post on JasonCurious.com regarding gay for pay porn stars, specifically Barrett Long. In the post, Jason quoted Barrett saying several thing in his interview with Howard Stern that were completely false. For instance, Barrett never said he was rich, nor anything of the sort. He only said that his career enables him to afford a decent lifestyle. Secondly Barrett never said he doesn't get hard during his performances, a caller trying to insult him did. Lastly, he never said he has to get high in order to perform. He said he smokes to elliviate the stress of escorting.

Jason, your report was falsified. If you did even listen to the show, then you are obviously nothing more than a tabloid writer. And that shows by some of the comments posted in response to your blog posting.

Though I work for Barrett, I have gotten to know him on a personal level. He is a good man and if there is one thing he cares about, it's his fans and making them happy. I have been with him when he has taken fans out to party with him after a show or after meeting them in a bar. He has never turned a fan away and ALWAYS tries to give them what they want. And to those fans who are dis-associating themselves from Barrett (if that report had any credibility) we would like you to know this. We are sorry you feel that way and would rather not lose you as a fan, but Barrett has always tried to put out a quality product that he is both proud of and that the fans would enjoy.

My message to you is this. If you aren't going to be truthful in regards to Barrett, then leave him off your blog. At the Long Media camp, we have a low tolerance for drama. Something you just provided with no good reason, other than to boost interest in your blog.

Sincerely,
Mike Kashey
Barrett Long personal assistant, and friend.

PS He was on the show to promote his new movie, "What Happens In Vegas...", which is available at longtoy.com. Another good example of your reporting.

It's somewhat fitting that he's only known for his dick - cause that's all he is, just a prick!

You've already invalidated your argument saying "Though I work for Barrett," You work for him and obviously you going to come to his defense.

Face it, Barrett came off a bit of a creep in the interview.

It seems the drama and silliness isn't coming the public, it's coming from Barrett and probably he loves the attention.

The "Gay for pay bit" is one thing...
but the history of drug dealing - sorry I'm NOT going to give any sympathy.

He seems so enamored with himself and his endowment, he probably fucks himself with the dildo mold of his dick.

To clarify in advance: He's not my type, I prefer self-confident men who aren't just a shell.

The good news is that when his "People" are out there spinning, it is because they can see there is damage that is being done.

Good ! I am glad he is getting blowback already.

In related news, Mike Kashey goes on Atkol to defend Barrett Long by indicating that those who attack said Barrett "make him (Mike) embarrassed to be gay".

Well, that certainly explains a lot.

"The "Gay for pay bit" is one thing... but the history of drug dealing - sorry I'm NOT going to give any sympathy."

To clarify, I'm not trying to be a prick about this too.

I CAN sympathize with any financial struggles a person might have, Barrett MIGHT of had to have been forced by circumstance to deal drugs. Also, in the same reasoning for performing in porn.

But to lack any self confidence to own up to what you DO, or ability to focus on the individual rather then the porn star persona...I get the sense it's a tragedy waiting to happen.

My gripe IS this -
Barrett lacks a contemplative nature: to be so unaware of yourself, in other words, not fully looking at yourself (meaning not a very reflective person) is bad. In this case, to have sex with men - YET not have the ANY ability to feel comradery towards GAY PEOPLE on any level, is irritating to me. THEY ARE YOUR PUBLIC, THEY PAY YOUR BILLS!

Can't models, such as Barrett, just say:

"I enjoy what I do, and I try not to live by other people's standards - whether it's gay or straight."

Or ...

"I enjoy sex and I'm a passionate person if it's either with women in my personal life or in films with men."

or how about this...

"Maybe one day I will fully identify as Gay or just be straight - I'm just trying to work my shit out like everybody else."

My statements address any other Gay for pay model too.

What is the problem here?

The problem is we don't own these porn models' brain so we don't know or can't control what they really think.

To be frank, if they're just doing this for $ and not having any feeling or not enjoying it, just let them be. It's just like any occupation out there that you're just doing it for the money and not have passions for it.

Gay-for-pay will always be out there unless we stop fantasizing having sex with str8 men.

Your statement equates what their "doing" with a regular 9 to 5 job. It's Two COMPLETELY different things.

It's ALL about attitude -

Barrett said, his old job at a debt collection agency was draining and he hated it.

To sum it up, He hated debt collection... so he stopped working at the agency to end up working in GAY porn? Even though he doesn't like GAY sex? That logic really doesn't add up.

Barrett isn't really demonstrating what he's saying - I don't like having sex with men, I only do it for the money? You have to be drawn to do something for a living in order to make a career out of it.
It's why that statistic exists - the average American will take around seven different jobs to find the ideal career they like.

Year RIGHT!

Why does no one here even question the premise of article, and his self-declared straightness?

If you put your dick an a dude's butt over and over, and their's in yours, you are gay or bi.

No one forces you into gay-porn, and real straights don't make it. The belief that there are (m)any real straight men in gay-porn is a just a self-serving fantasy on the viewers' part.

Ask yourself this if you are really gay: do you get hard when thinking about and having sex with women? Didn't think so. Its the same for straight men with other dude. Any real straight guy would never accept the notion that a man who routinely has sex with other men is not gay or bi.

Finally, even if all is true what he said, who cares? If he looks good making the porn thats all that matters.
Anyway, I believe not a word of it.

If you're being given only 2 options to choose and forced to choose it, which will you choose?

1) stuck in a job you don't like that pays you $8 an hour

2) stuck in a job you don't enjoy that much but it pays you like $3000 a month

What would you choose?

Porn may not be a regular 9-5 office cubicle job, but still, it's a job.

Wolf Hudson and Barrett Long letting their fans down with such statements is exactly what their fans desreve. And any of their fans that are OK with this are probably abuse victims who have reached that point of taking anything thrown at them with no questions asked. Yes, it may be only porn, but one should still demand quality Quality is the form of how one comment said, gay porn is supposed to be a celebration of gay sex. It's the reason I got in the industry, and standing by that sentiment is why I have such disdain for gay-for-pay actors. So much so that in a comment at Gay Porn Times, I referred to them as "gay-for-pay bitches in denial" much to the chagrin of Wolf Hudson.

The only acting a gay porn actor is supposed to do is to act like that dick or ass is the best he's ever had, but enjoying the act of playing with cock and male ass. If he's not enjoying it (bullshit when you have a raging hard-on), then he shouldn't be a gay porn actor.

I am sick of gay for pay stuff. It only feeds into the myth that being gay is a choice or that gay people prey on straight people.

Wolf and Barrett get away with proclaiming they are straight and can't stand having sex with males (no matter how many dicks have been up their asses and vice versa) because they can. Are there any enforceable laws that prohibits them from doing so? Unless or until such matters of false pretense (in matters of what is gay and what is straight) become legal,it simply doesn't mean anything.

6:22 AM
Anonymous sumyungguy said...

So what if they don't? As long as they CAN do it that's all that matters to the audience, right (Your gonna make my money bitch, I don't care if you don't like it!!LOL)? If it sells, and the customers buy it, it will continue. Basic economics. The porn business is truly a "hustle".

However, I feel that porn should never be a basis for making money. When Long said that, that just made me lose MORE respect for him that I already didn't have for him. I'm just really agains't doing it for monetary value, SO many other options, for straight, gay,bi, whatever men, women, transgendered, whatever. If you do it cause you love it first, and the money second, then maybe you have a acceptable reason. Regardless of how anyone feels though, the studios are still going to put it out whether the stars liked to do it or not, cause they signed the contracts agreeing to do it.

And who's Wolf Hundson 0_0?!! Never heard of him <_<, What was he in?

What's the difference between these guys and the vast majority of female porn actresses doing lesbian scenes? Those women are not really lesbians. I have never seen everybody up in arms over that. What a double standard. In fact, most porn doesn't even remotely resemble reality. You think 90% of the performers are *really* into the partner they are paired with? You think some gorgeous woman is into some hairy ape like Ron Jeremy banging her? It's *all* fake, it's *all* "gay for pay" and "straight for pay", and "attracted to Ron Jeremy for pay", by nature of what it is: a performance for the camera. I think making a stink about what someone is attracted to in their private life says more about your own hangups about homosexuality than the performers. They clearly don't feel the need to be labeled or define their sexuality for you. You didn't buy their *life*. You are buying a shoot, a simulated performance, just like every other porn performer you see. Should we start screaming, "I happen to know that Joe Blow hates short guys in real life, but he's fucking a short guy in this movie! Boycott his movies! It's a farce! He's a 'short-man fucker for pay'!" How ridiculous. I don't think Wolf Hudson ever said there was something wrong with being gay. It's just not his preference in real life. Same as any other performer's real-life sexual preferences. You are projecting your own issues about sexuality onto it if it bothers you to this extent. Why do you *need* to have them in that box? What will that prove to you?
