The Show Must Go On!
AVN Magazine denied rumors this morning that there will not be a ceremony for The GayVN Awards. The hold up in announcing city, location, nominations and other additional information they claim is due to an attempt at getting broadcaster sponsorship, much like The AVN Awards (the Oscars of the straight porn world) have done with Showtime and Playboy TV in the past. If they can not, the magazine says they may have to produce a lower scale ceremony this year, but do not have any current intentions of canceling the show.
In other awards news, The Cybersocket Awards as set to take place in Los Angeles on February 8th, hosted by MEEEEEE... and Chi Chi LaRue! The X Biz Awards will also be held that week in Los Angeles on Wendesday, February 10th with an after party at Here Lounge hosted by MEEEEEE ...and Chi Chi LaRue!
And the infamous Grabby Awards (my personal favorite of all gay porn awards, the BIGGEST show and the MOST fun every year in Chicago!) are currently taking YOUR suggestions for what porn stars should co-host the show this year. So be sure to stop by Grabbys.com and cast your vote!

Whats a grabby? Never heard of them. Why are they fun?
It is like a BIG family reunion where everyone (usually) puts the drama aside for a long weekend in Chicago with tons of back to back events, highlighted by a really entertaining awards ceremony. The awards are voted on by the fans. A lot of effort like lighting and music and video and stuff goes into the show. It's just really really well done every year. I would definitely suggest looking into going if you can. It's never an experience anyone regrets!
