As an adopted child growing up under the influence of what she has often described as a "strict," "repressed," and "religious" background, Devinn Lane was, for the most part, a goody two shoes. "Well, there were those times when I'd flash the schoolboys in the hall," she recalls. "Maybe I haven't changed much, after all." Fresh out of high school and working in retail, Devinn and some of her gal pals attended an all-male strip revue in what would become a night that changed her life indefinitely. Devinn was in awe of the show and perhaps even more astounded by the money the studs were making as erotic dancers. With little hesitation, Devinn heard her calling, left her repressive roots behind, and took to the road as a dancer and nude model for nine years, during which time she was predominantly known for her whip-wielding diva shows and layouts. When Devinn decided to parlay her erotic career into video performances, she quickly snagged an exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures.
