Reed is undoubtedly the Queen of Cable TV. You've no doubt seen
her all over Blockbuster, Cinemax, Showtime, HBO, and even the Playboy
Channel. She's a breed set apart from most in both mainstream and
adult, as she has unabashedly walked that fence and walked it with
pride, class, and dignity. I met Reed at the very beginning of her
career, when she was starring in erotic films like "Losing
Control," "Damian's Seed," and "The Black Book
of Madame Savant." We have joked that we lost our journalistic
virginity to each other, as she was my first assignment and published
article as a journalist at the age of 16, and I was her first ever
interview. (Femme Fatales, April 1997) When I moved to Los Angeles
after graduating high school, Reed helped me to find my first place
to live and took me under her wing, buying me lunch, taking me to
parties, and introducing me to everyone I needed to know. When she
decided to launch her first (and only, to date) hardcore venture,
the live cam site, MarriedCouple.com, with her husband, Dan Anderson,
she took me on as her personal publicist. These days, Kira Reed
can be seen as a reporter for Playboy TV's "Sexcetera"
and in bit parts on a variety of mainstream television programs
like "ER" and "NYPD Blue." To me, Kira has always
been an actress; one of the few in B-movies whose talent shines
through the "every 30 minutes" sex scenes. She's one of
those few who I'll be forever in debt to for really catapulting
