Tera Patrick
She's one of the most popular porn stars of the
new generation. To hear her tell the story: A former nurse from
Great Falls, Montana, Tera
Patrick found herself working as a model in the mainstream fashion
world for a few years before she decided to take the plunge into
the adult entertainment arena. And oddly enough when she did, no
one took notice. Featured in gonzo productions and low-budget pornos
throughout the early days of her career, it wasn't until she was
snatched up by Digital
Playground an an exclusive that the company helped push her
to superstardom. After a few years under contract, Tera filed a
lawsuit against the company to gain back the right to her name and
image. She won and resigned with Vivid Video a few months later
where she now produces her own movies under her TeraVision label,
alongside her husband, mainstream actor and rock musician Evan Seinfeld.
Tera was formerly linked to straight male performer Randy Spears
in what she has privately claimed to be a physically abusive relationship,
something that Spears vehemently denies. Taking a page after her
Vivid sister Jenna Jameson,
Tera is either adored or despised by industry insiders for her status
as a celebrity and her rumored diva tendencies -- most of which,
anyone will tell you, stems from an inane sense of jealousy. As
you can see from my diary entries on Tera below, I considered her
one of my closest friends throughout 2001 and early 2002, in the
beginning stages of this web site and at the peak of Tera's career
with Digital. But after a falling out with a mutual friend, our
friendship drifted.
