Column #2: Good Riddance to the King of Queens

Adult entertainment reporter Jason Sechrest reported earlier this month that the self-proclaimed "Queen of Porn" Jeff Palmer (HIV+ Bareback Video Star/Escort) would be retiring to a life of monogamy and retiring from the industry. It's about time! He should of retired a long time ago. Like maybe the day he found out he had contracted the HIV virus! So from my lips to yours, goodbye Jeff! Don't let the door hit ya' where the good Lord split ya! I haven't heard any better news since the capture of Saddam, alive hiding in a "hole" somewhere in Iraq!

On Thursday night (12/11/2003) I was one of the featured guests for club Micky's Cocktails With The Stars here in West Hollywood, California. It just so happened to be gay porn a gent David Forest's 55^th birthday party. Stonie, Rocky, Rob Stone & Lexx Parker were the other featured guests for the evening. Jason Sechrest (Cocktails host) interviewed us on all sorts of naughty questions only the "Curious One" himself could come up with. We love Jason! Some notable "industry heavyweights" I saw stopping in for Cocktails included producer/director Blue Blake, Gino Colbert, and the new President of Jet Set Video Brett Drysdale who is such a nice guy and pretty cute too! David Forest was surprised with a huge delicious cake and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to the dedicated, hard working man that has dedicated over 25 years of his life working as the top agent to the hottest and highest paid male gay adult movie stars. I hear Forest is already planning next year's birthday bash! 

Congratulations to video star Franco Corelli who is now in the lead of 12 guys nominated for Naked Sword's annual Naked Swordsmen of the Year. No word yet on location or if fans of the industry can buy tables/tickets for the show this year, but if so I am sure it will be posted up onto the web site, www.gayvn.com, sometime in January. This year's nominations as well as Hall of Fame inductees will be announced in January as well. Past GayVN Hall Of Famers include directors Josh Eliot, William Higgins, John Rutherford, Jim Steel and performers Joey Stefano, Ryan Idol, Jeff Stryker and Ken Ryker. I will be attending the 2004 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Venetian Hotel  from January 8^th - 11^th. I will be signing autographs with Delta Video, promoting our Grabby Award Winning movie, Apprentice II. Make sure if you're attending or going to be in the Las Vegas area you stop by and say hi! 

I will close this column with a Merry Christmas and a safe Happy New Year to all of you! As I finish this column, I am in a rush to wrap presents last minute. I need to get everything done a little early this year, as next week I will be attending the Mariah Carey concert at the Universal Amphitheatre with Jason Sechrest, sitting right in the front row! I don't think I will ever get over it!
