Low and behold, at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 27th, all of the Wicked girls sat lined in a row for their makeup artists in the dressing room. Now you might expect this to be quite the scene. Cat fights galore, right? Each girl demanding a bottle of watter or a twizzler or something, anything, just to demand something, right? Well, imagine my shock and disbelief when I walk into the dressing room and they're all completely silent. There's not a sound coming from anyone in the room. Ok, maybe one of them was on their cell phone! But come on, if they're not going to be loud and obnoxious, what do I have to write about?! They stare forward into the mirror, almost like robots, scrutinizing their makeup job as if judging to make sure it's of Wicked girl quality. Eventually, Devinn lifts her gaze to her hair and sees that I'm standing behind her. "Jason!" she yells, breaking the silence.
I give her a hug and one of those fake and pretentious air kisses -- not because either of us are pretentious, but because we didn't want to smear her makeup.
